How many moles are 3.6 g of water ?

#### Solution

Given  mass of water = 3.6g

Gram molecular mass of water = 18g

Therefore, 18g of water = 1 mole of water

So, 3.6g of water =3.6/18 moles of water

Hence, 3.6g of water contain 0.2 moles of water.
