She bought a 100 metre roll of lace.

Look at the picture of the table cloth and tell how much lace is used for one table cloth.

Solution

1 m 50 cm = 100 cm + 50 cm = 150 cm

The length of lace required for one table cloth

= 150 cm + 50 cm + 150 cm + 50 cm .
= 400 cm

= 4 metre
