# Find six rational numbers between 3 and 4. - Mathematics

Find six rational numbers between 3 and 4.

#### Solution

Let us take the 3 and 4 as rational numbers with denominator 6 + 1 = 7

Then the 6 rational numbers between 3 and 4 are

3=(3xx7)/(1xx7)=21/7 and 4=(4xx7)/(1xx7)=28/7,

We know that 21<22<23<24<25<26<27<28

21/7<22/7<23/7<24/7<25/7<26/7<27/7<28/7.

Hence, six rational numbers between 3=21/7 and 4=28/7 are

22/7, 23/7, 24/7, 25/7, 26/7 " and " 27/7.
