Divide as directed 20(y + 4) (y2 + 5y + 3) ÷ 5(y + 4)

Solution

20(y + 4) (y2 + 5y + 3) = 2 × 2 × 5 × (y + 4) (y2 + 5y + 3)

20(y + 4) (y2 + 5y + 3) ÷ 5(y + 4) = `(2 xx 2 xx 5 xx (y + 4) xx (y^2 + 5y + 3))/(5xx(y+4))`

` = 4(y^2 + 5y + 3)`
