Answer each of the following questions in one word or one sentence or as per exact requirement of the question:
Write the distance of a point P(abc) from x-axis.

Solution

We know that a general point (xyz) has distance \[\sqrt{y^2 + z^2}\]  from the x-axis.

∴ Distance of a point P(abc) from x-axis = \[\sqrt{b^2 + c^2}\]
