Hypocotyl Epicotyl
It is the part of embryonal axis in between plumule and cotyledon node It is the part of embryonal axis in between cotylendonary node and radicle
In hypogeal germination, epicotyl elongates so that cotyledons remain in the soil. In epigeal germination, hypicotyl elongates so that cotyledons come out of soil
The terimnal end of epicotyl is plumule The terminal end of hypocotyl is radicle
