Solution

`2MnO_(4(aq))^-  + 5H_2O_(2(g)) -> 6H_((aq))^+ -> 2Mn_((aq))^(2+) + 8H_2O_(l) + 5O_(2(g))`

`H_2O_(2(aq))` is acting as a reducing agent in the acidic medium, thereby oxidizing `MnO_(4(aq))^(-)`

Hence, the given reaction is a redox reaction.
