Choose the correct alternative answer for the following question.

Find the perimeter of a sector of a circle if its measure is 90° and radius is 7 cm.

•  44 cm

•   25 cm

• 36 cm

• 56 cm

#### Solution

Here, r = 7 cm and θ = 90º.
∴ Perimeter of the sector = $\frac{\theta}{360° } \times 2\pi r + 2r = \frac{90° }{360° } \times 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7 + 2 \times 7$ = 11 + 14 = 25 cm
