Given:

Atomic mass of H = 1 u

Atomic mass of N = 14 u

Atomic mass of O = 16 u

Therefore, molecular mass of HNO3 can be calculated as follows:

(1 × 1) + (1 × 14) + (3 ×16) = 63

Hence, molecular mass of nitric acid is 63 u.
