Escape velocity of body from the surface of the earth = 11.2 km/s

`v_e=sqrt2v_0`

`v_0=v_e/sqrt2`

`v_0=(11.2xx10^3)/1.414`

v0 = 7.92×103 m/s or  7.92 km/s
