Given:

n1 = 15 r.p.s

n2 = 5 r.p.s

To find:

angular acceleration, α = ?

Formula:

`alpha = (omega_2-omega_1)/t`

Solution:

After 50 revolutions T = 1/50 = 0.02s

`omega_1 = 2pin_1`

`omega_2 = 2pin_2`

`alpha = (omega_2-omega_1)/t`

`alpha = (2pin_2-2pin_1)/t`

`alpha = 2pi((n_2-n_1))/t`

`alpha = 2pi((15-5))/0.02`

`alpha = (2pixx10)/0.02`

`alpha = (2xx22xx10)/(7xx0.02)`

α = 3142 rad/s2
