The reactance of an inductor is given by,
`X_L = omegaL`

And the reactance of a capacitor is given by,
`Xc = 1/(omegaC)`
Here, ω = 2πf , where f is the frequency of the source. So, when f increases, ω increases.
∴ XL will increase and XC will decrease.
