A train travels a distance of 300 km with an average speed of 60 km h_1. How much time does it take to cover the distance?

Solution

Speed = `60 km  h^-1`

Distance covered = 300 km

∴ Speed = `"Distance covered"/" Time taken"`

∴ Time taken = `"Distance covered"/" speed"`

                       = `(300 km)/(60 km  h ^-1)`=5h
