Given:
In a gas thermometer, the pressure measured at the melting point of lead, P = 2.20 × Pressure at triple point(Ptr)
So the melting point of lead,(T) is given as:

`T = P/P_(tr) × 273.16  K`

`=> T = (2.20 ×P_(tr))/P_(tr) × 273.16 K`

⇒ T =2.20 × 273.16 K

⇒  T = 600.952 K

⇒ T ≅  601 K

Therefore, the melting point of lead is 601 K.
