Solution

Number of possible outcomes when dice is thrown ={1,2,3,4,5,6}

n(S)=6

Event of getting a number less than or equal to 2=E{1,2} n(E)=2

Probability of getting a number less than or equal to   2=

`(n(E))/(n(s))=2/6=1/3 `
