Solution

Let,

 V1.V2,V3 → Volumes of the three cubes

a1,a2,a3 Sides of the three cubes

We know that,

a3 = V

So,

`a_1^3 = V_1`

`a_1^3 = 1/8`

`a_1 = 1/2 cm`

Similarly,

`a_2^3 = 1`

a2 = 1 cm

And;

`a_3^3 = 8`

a2 = 2 cm

So the height of the resulting structure,

`=1/2+1+2`

= 0.5 + 1 + 2

= 3.5 cm

The height of the structure is 3.5 cm  .
