1.The School / College aims primarily at the education of the Catholic community through the medium of English and the preservation of the Catholic faith and religious practices. Keeping this in view classes in religion are conducted and it is obligatory for Catholic children to attend these. While preference in admission is given to Catholic children, admission is, however, open to the children of other communities irrespective of caste or creed. Value Education classes are conducted for them.
2.The school / college aims at providing an all-round education to its students by promoting various fields of interest such as games and sports, music and singing, elocution and dramatics, outings and excursions, M.C.C. and social service and Value Education.
3.The school stands for academic excellence, development of skills and character formation based on the love of God and the service of humanity as modelled on the person of Jesus Christ Therefore all the academic subjects, curricular and co-curricular activities, year plans, House system are geared towards a child’s personality and character formation.
4. Daily assembly prayers, value education, retreats and seminars, inspiration drawn from the teachers’ integrity, authenticity and dedication helps in the spiritual and moral formation. It creates an awareness of the existence of a supernatural power.
5.‘Sound mind in a sound body’. This is achieved through physical education, games and M.C.C. These activities also help in acquiring a set of values such as Honesty, Self Control, Team spirit, Discipline, Self Confidence, Patriotism, Self help, also inculcate, healthy attitudes to help the child to strike a balance between success and failure.
6.Literary activities in and outside the school, elocution, debating, dramatics helps in logical thinking, analyzing, evaluating, art of public speaking and self confidence.
7. Literature, art and music and work experience develop appreciation for various cultures: national and international and beauty of God’s creation. They also open a new world of creativity, help the child to use leisure profitably, to have broad outlook towards all cultures and forming an aesthetic view.
8.The school magazine provides for intellectual development and self expression.
9.Social service, field trips bring social awareness, understanding of the society, develop a spirit of inquiry, appreciation, zeal to promote harmony, peace, spirit of availability & ready service & Computer Education, to keep pace with advanced technology.
